Thanks for your note. Firstly you shouldn't be sad about being 80, it is something to celebrate, reaching that milestone AND still having running ambitions. I would like some advice about to train for a 10 k race towards the end of the year to be able to run with my young family and hopefully surprise them. I am trying to start running again and have been training gently for 5 weeks,I turn out 3 times a week and I run a hilly 5k road course in 38 mins. I injured my leg (nerve damage) falling off a roof in 2016 two weeks before I was due to run the London Marathon.
